Three Birds Alliance provides pathways to healing and hope for individuals and families impacted by domestic violence. Established in 1979, Three Birds Alliance is the only 24/7 shelter available in the City of Aurora and Arapahoe County, offering emergency shelter and extended-stay care, together with a crisis line, and licensed counseling.
Established in 2012, Second Chance Center, Inc. (SCC) is a Colorado based nonprofit organization determined to be the state’s premier community re-entry program and a model for the nation. SCC offers case management, mentoring, and vital resources to assist formerly incarcerated individuals in reestablishing their lives and becoming successful members of the community.
Gateway Domestic Violence Services is the only agency specifically serving victims of domestic violence in the City of Aurora and Arapahoe County. Since 1979 Gateway (formerly known as Gateway Battered Women’s Shelter, Inc.) has steadfastly provided strategic direction and skilled leadership toward our mission of preventing and eliminating intimate partner violence.
Ready to Work Housing and Employment Center
Aurora (Bridge House Program)
Ready to Work Housing and Employment Program--Aurora helps men and women who are homeless rebuild their lives. People in the program receive paid work, dormitory housing, and case management support. Ready to Work--Aurora is a Bridge House program. They are a WAGEES community partner.
